To qualify as an ELC diverse and/or small supplier, a business must be certified by an acceptable certifying body or government agency as at least one of the following:
- Disability Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE certified)
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Owned Business (LGBTBE certified)
- Minority Business Enterprise (MBE certified)
- Service-Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (SDVBE certified)
- Small Business Enterprise (SBE certified)
- Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE certified)
- Women Business Enterprise (WBE certified)
